Cosmetic tattooing is considered a permanent procedure, as the pigment is implanted into the skin and cannot be washed off. However, the body will naturally break down the pigment over time. Results typically last 1 to 10 years, and in some cases, even longer. While fading occurs, traces of pigment will always remain.

About the Pigments We Use
Our pigments are carbon-based and free from nickel and heavy metals. They are made from a blend of powdered pigments, glycerin, witch hazel, isopropyl alcohol, distilled water, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, aqua, rosin, and DMDM hydantoin. These ingredients are safe, non-reactive, and specifically formulated for use in the skin. All pigments are gamma-ray sterilised, vegan, and cruelty-free.
Each pigment is custom-selected to complement your unique features, including your skin tone, hair colour, eye colour, and personal preferences.

Design & Consultation
During your appointment, your artist will carefully map and draw the shape of your tattoo. You’ll have the opportunity to review and approve the design before any tattooing begins. We only proceed once you are 100% happy with the shape.
Your session includes a comprehensive consultation and an aftercare kit to support your healing process.

Treatment Process & Appointments
Cosmetic tattooing is completed over two sessions, with payment divided accordingly. Your perfecting appointment is required 6–12 weeks after your first session and can be booked at the time of your initial appointment—or later, as needed.

Pain & Comfort
Most clients find the procedure very manageable, typically rating the discomfort as 1/10 for brows and eyeliner and 3/10 for lips. A topical numbing cream is applied throughout the treatment to ensure your comfort.

Preparing for Your Appointment
To ensure the best results, please follow these pre-care guidelines:
-
Avoid active skincare products (e.g. Retinoids, AHAs, chemical peels) on your face for at least 6 weeks prior, as they can thin or sensitise the skin.
-
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, fish oil, and blood-thinning medications (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin) for 48 hours before your appointment. If you take prescribed blood thinners, please let us know in advance.
-
We cannot tattoo over blemishes, moles, sores, or sunburn in the treatment area.
-
Botox or fillers should be scheduled at least two weeks before or after your cosmetic tattoo appointment.
-
Tattooing is not permitted if you are pregnant or have taken Accutane within the past 6 months.
-
Clients with diabetes or autoimmune disorders must provide a doctor’s clearance letter. Please note that pigment retention may vary and cannot be guaranteed.
For detailed healing guidance, refer to our [Aftercare Instructions].

Long-Term Care & Maintenance
Cosmetic tattoos may change in appearance over time. Pigments break down at different rates, and some may be more difficult for the body to metabolise. This can occasionally result in residual tones or colour shifts, which may require neutralisation—a process where complementary pigments are applied to restore the desired colour.
To keep your cosmetic tattoo looking fresh, we recommend a refresh session every 1–3 years, or when the pigment has faded by approximately 50%.
